Fine integration of fruit and acidity makes for a sophisticated wine easy to enjoy by itself or with seafood. Bottle maturation will see this wine develop further, enhancing food versatility.

Chardonnay
Since the release of their first Chardonnay, Glen Carlou has become synonymous with award-winning Chardonnay the world over.
Fermented in French oak barriques and matured for ten months sur lie, this wine rewards with rich, round fruity flavours, harmoniously balanced with well-integrated oak.

Pinot noir
Judiciously matured in French oak barrels, our Pinot Noir is rich and outspoken, yet elegant and smooth.
Exciting aromas of bramble fruit and spice are beautifully complemented by hints of mulberry and chocolate. On the palate a medley of strawberry and raspberry is subtly complemented by well-integrated oak.

Syrah
To produce this dense and powerful wine, half the crop is dropped during the growing season.
Aromas of spicy blackberry and toasty oak lead to complex flavours of ripe berry fruit, violet and currant on the smooth palate.

Cabernet Sauvignon
First release of a Cabernet Sauvignon in the classic range at Glen Carlou in 13 years.
Intense, fruit-driven character with a solid tannin backbone for maturation.

Grand Classique
A classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot.
Intriguing aromas of clove, sandalwood and fresh blackcurrant are followed by a velvety smooth palate brimming with ripe berry fruit and well supported by supple tannins and gentle oak.

Zinfandel
This Zinfandel is a special bottling of only 10 225litre barrels. In doing this, the winemaker wishes to show the exquisite balance of tannin as well as the luscious rich and ripe fruit that the grape is capable of producing on Glen Carlou.
